woxy, but good

Since being saved in the 11th hour by Bill Nguyen of lala.com, woxy.com has turned it up to, well, 11.

This past week’s Lounge Acts featured an almost hour long acoustic set/interview with Pixies frontman/teenager of the year, Frank Black, and program director, Matt Shiv, is kicking it up in lala with a rather nice exploration into lala’s library with a radio station of his own (thanks to reader, Alice M). Add that to the fact that you can download three different woxy podcasts (Lounge Acts, Unsigned Artists, and the Modern Rock Minute) and you’re pretty much golden.

Frank Black, of course, played Halloween night at the Southgate House, so we would be remiss if we didn’t at least feature some of his music.
