While both albums were excellent, I'm not sure they topped previous efforts. I like all of your picks, and that's why we couldn't agree on a Top 10. Each of us picked the albums that the others didn't. Only consistent albums were Band of Horses, and maybe Phoenix or Islands. I did rawk the shit out of Destroyer, but it fell a little short of my top 10. I enjoy The Decemberist album as well, but honestly I don't play it as much as I do their prior albums. As far as Six Organs of Admittance, I think it comes out solid with the first six songs - however, the last song is way too indulgent for me. Ah yes. If only my list could be longer.
