My Preciousssss (Electric President)

Electric President produces tasty soundscapes with notes of preciousness, like the Notwist fronted by Kermit’s nephew Robin. I don’t mean precious in any pejorative sense. In fact, I’m naturally inclined to voices such as Ben Cooper’s or Alex Kane’s (whoever’s the singer). I like Tullycraft. I like Warm Wires, and really anything B. Mossman puts out. I like Belle & Sebastian. Check out the website for Morr Music, Electric President’s current label. How cute is that?! Look at that cute little pink blob and those friendly little squirrels. Check out the title of Electric President’s 2004 EP: You Have the Right to Remain Awesome. And one of their songs is so excellently called Label My Mind: Blown. Isn’t this the stuff of a better life?
