Electric President produces tasty soundscapes with notes of preciousness, like the Notwist fronted by Kermit’s nephew Robin. I don’t mean precious in any pejorative sense. In fact, I’m naturally inclined to voices such as Ben Cooper’s or Alex Kane’s (whoever’s the singer). I like Tullycraft. I like Warm Wires, and really anything B. Mossman puts out. I like Belle & Sebastian. Check out the website

Check out the title of Electric President’s 2004 EP: You Have the Right to Remain Awesome. And one of their songs is so excellently called Label My Mind: Blown. Isn’t this the stuff of a better life?
