I must admit, I have a strange fascination with Weird Al. No, it’s not the Riff Raff hunched over shoulder look… It’s the fact that he capitalized on something we were all thinking of and parlayed into a career. Nay, a veritable cottage industry. And, he’s managed to stay in touch with the kids, despite the fact that he’s 46 years old. The second album I ever bought was “Weird Al Yankovic In 3-D”. I crafted a character I played in “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” based on Michael Richard’s Stanley Spadowski in UHF.
I should also say I like Eminem. No, not the persona of Eminem, arguing with Triumph is a bit too much. But ever since I picked up the “I Just Don’t Give A Fuck” single for free at Chicago’s Evil Clown Records, I knew this guy had moxie. Kinda like Rosanne or Madonna. He’s the guy you love to hate, but at the same time he’s churning out some pretty damn good music.
So it should come as no surprise that I find this entertaining.

Big Al fan here, and “What If God Smoked Cannabis” is not by him.
Here is a list of “Not Al”:

Wow, I had barely posted that and was just reading back through it when I got your comment. Thanks, sorry about that - I was just inserting tracks from my iTunes and for some reason that one was listed in my Al folder.
Wow! “Weird Al Yankovic in 3D” was the second album I owned as well! It was preceded by Run DMC “Raising Hell”. Which I don’t know how I got an album with that name at that young of age. Thanks Mom and Dad! But I should probably be thanking my older brother for that one.
