Go Junior, Go Senior

My wife and I have been obsessed lately with the Junior Senior album, D-D-Don’t Don’t Stop the Beat, the 2003 debut LP from the Danish duo. I hadn’t heard of them until KCRW played them on Morning Becomes Eclectic recently, but Keleigh had heard the song somewhere else on the radio.

Man, is it an infectious song! It’s hard enough for me to not tap out the beat when walking, typing, or just hanging out on the toilet. Actually the whole album is a solid listen. Their music brings to mind the B-52s or Deee-Lite, simply because they are straight-up fun music.

Check out this really cool video for Move Your Feet.

Junior Senior released their second full-length album, Hey Hey My My Yo Yo, last year. It’s not yet available stateside, but you can listen to and download some tracks on their MySpace page.

You know, I think this is one Danish export Iran would have a hard time boycotting.
